Day 169: 10 Hindi Songs I Loved In High School

Here is a list of ten hindi songs I used to listen to a lot, back in high school. Here's to hoping you'd like the list too. Please wait for the videos to load.

Enjoy the playlist.

(i) Doorie-Atif Aslam
I love Atif Aslam. I mean no kidding. If I had to fall in love with a voice, it could be his. He's got a magically soulful voice that you can't ignore. Amazingly sung.

(ii) Chalo Tumko Lekar- Shreya Ghoshal
This song from the movie Jism is not only sensual, but so melodic. Thanks to Shreya Ghoshal's soft tone, this creates just the right amount of magic it should have.

(iii) Deewana- Sonu Nigam
Yes, one day he was famous and no not at all overrated. Sonu Nigam had created a sensation with his cute face and his class music especially targeted to the youth. He sure was a hit with me, thanks to this song. I watched it over and over again. I still don't know why. I also liked the song Ab mujhe raat din.

(iv) Woh Pehli Baar- Shaan
Yes, the song from the movie Pyaar Me Kabhi Kabhi, which according to me was definitely aired on Star Plus every damn Valentine's day. Shaan was one of my teen favorites. And this song is amazing.

(v) Bheegi Bheegi Raaton Mein- Adnan Sami
Adnan Sami, our very own cutiepatootie sung this song wonderfully. I still think it's kind of difficult to choose one song from all of the ones he sung back then.

(vi) Angel Eyes- Raghav
OMG, it had hots for this man. The way he says, 'some kissing and hugging' he makes me go ooooooooooh. LOL. Apparently I used to have it on repeat for like whole night long. Some men just have such a sexy accent.

(vii) Sajni- Jal The Band
They've given some pretty good hits and although the video was crappy and the song overrated, I loved it.

(viii) Channa ve- Kunal Ganjawala
You can't deny you love this song. Back in those days when indi-pop was the scene and we had so many remixes being made, this song made a special place in my playlist.

(ix) Tere Bin - Atif Aslam
Yet another Atif Aslam favorite, I can't help it. My mom loves this song.

(x) Maula- Roop Kumar Rathod
This is such a beautiful song from an amazing movie Anwar. If you guys haven't watched it, then go and do it today. If you are a good movie critic, I suggest you watch it & enjoy the classical tunes.

I hope you guys have nostalgia, after going through this. It's so difficult to cut short the list to ten. I have a ten more in mind. If I missed out on something you like, don't forget to add it in the comments.
